Stephen sangs background story

Stephen Arap Sang was born in aldai constituency,maraba ward kobuchoi location in nandi county.He attended kapsabet boys and kobujoi primary.His background was poor and he was so hardworking student in school.

He started politics at a young age of around 22 when he ran for member of parliament where he lost.He got a job as an assistant minister for sports in the kenya government when he gained popularity. He served well where he was also elected as a member of the national assembly of kenya representing tinderet constituency.

He also served as a member of parliament for tinderet constituency for two terms where he decided to ran for senator.As he was serving as an mp he also did his masters in where he graduated to be called wakili.In 2013 when uhuru kenyatta and william samoei ruto were running for presidency,he joined ruto where he ran for senatorial position under URP party where he won.

He served as a senator under the former governor dr cleophas lagat where he learned alot from his excellency the deputy president by that time dr william ruto.He decided to run for governor position in 2017 under jubilee ticket, where he won against the sitting governor dr cleophas lagat where he was elected the smallest governor in kenya at the age of 29years.

He served the people of nandi county with hard work and diligence,where he started politics following dr william samoei rutos footsteps.He decided to run foe the second time in 2022 where he retained his position under the UDA party.The party to the current president of kenya william samoei ruto who took over from the outgoing president mr uhuru kenyatta. Despite his younger age he plans to join hands with his people to stand for presidency since he believes in himself.
